University Lithoprinters (ULitho) was established as a yearbook printer in 1934. A local institution in South East Michigan for over 85 years, today we offer a full range of commercial offset printing and digital printing as well as expanded mailing services.
What's in a name?
ULitho (University Lithoprinters) actually gets it name from the offset printing process used to print many of your projects - Lithography.
"Litho" comes from the Greek word for stone, and "graph" from the Greek word meaning to draw or write. Lithography literally means writing, or drawing with a stone. Why is it used to describe printing? More about lithography...
